Beacon Promotions, Inc. is a leader in the promotional products industry, and has a great opportunity for someone to join our Customer Service Team as a Customer Service Representative. This person will be responsible for serving customers by providing product and service information and resolving product or service problems.

Beacon Promotions, Inc. is a growing company and provides this individual the chance to grow, learn & assist the company with this amazing opportunity. This person will be required to perform a variety of duties and responsibilities, but most importantly can be a great addition to the growing team at Beacon.

Purpose of Role:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.


  • Correspond with customers via telephone & e-mail to communicate information regarding prospective orders, order status, samples and completed orders.
  • Resolve customer issues relating to pricing, shipping, quality, etc.
  • Document all communication with customer regarding changes or additions to orders.
  • Interact with all areas of the office and factory to facilitate the flow of orders to meet customers’ requested shipment dates.
  • Assist sales & marketing team in proactively reaching out to customers to help grow accounts.
  • Use internal software system to keep orders moving and progressing through the system.
  • Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of two years of previous customer service or sales experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written skills.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to present a professional response to the customer using both telephone & computer correspondence.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
